Ibadan -> Attractions

The University of Ibadan:

The charming atmosphere of the University surroundings attracts many visitors to the place. It is located on Oyo Road to the north of the town. There is a museum in the building of the Institute of African Studies, which exhibits several remarkable bronze carvings and statues. It is open from Monday to Friday between 10an and 3.30pm.

The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture:

The IITA is on the Oyo road, about 5km further down from the university campus. The attractive grounds have places where refreshments are served, a wonderful pool and guest chalets.

Transwonderland Amusement Park:

The Transwonderland Amusement Park is the African counterpart to Disneyland. It is located on road to the university. It has become a popular destination for tourists and it draws large crowds of visitors on weekends and holidays.
